COVID - Hygiene & Safety

Dear guests

We are so happy to start into winter season
as planned on December 17th.

Your protection, safety and wellbeing are our top priorities.

New from Monday, December 20, 2021 Basically, when entering from all countries (including EU / EEA / Switzerland) the "2G + rule" applies - so you have to be vaccinated or recovered AND also carry a negative PCR test (max. 72h old).

Exception to the 2G + rule: The obligation to carry a PCR test in addition to the 2G status does not apply to people who have a “booster vaccination”. As before, these people can enter the country without registering and without quarantine.

Children up to the age of twelve do not have to meet the 2G rule (i.e. do not have to be vaccinated or recovered) and do not need a PCR test if they are traveling under the supervision of an adult. The corresponding proof of the adult thus extends to the minors. Additional provisions apply to the minors as well as to the accompanying adult. If the adult has to go into quarantine, the minor must do so too. The same applies to any registration requirements.

Regulations for 12 to 15 year old children: For people of school age, the corona test pass or ninja pass is valid as proof of a low epidemiological risk.

An exception will be created for foreign minors of school age to the effect that fulfilling the test intervals of the “ninja pass” is equated with evidence of a low epidemiological risk. School-age children do not have to meet the 2G + rule, but can enter the country with a test certificate (PCR or antigen test) - however, the further test intervals according to the Ninja Pass must be observed. For the winter season 2021/22, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism together with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce launched the Holiday-Ninja-Pass   initiative based on the Austrian school ninja pass (Corona test pass of the COVID-19 school ordinance 2021/22), launched. The Holiday-Ninja-Pass is an exception to the 2G proof for not or not fully vaccinated young people of school age (from 12 to 15 years) from Germany and abroad.

Conditions Austria (Hotel, Restaurant, Skipass):

Our employees have been vaccinated, PCR tested or have recovered.

On December 8th, 2021, the Austrian federal government issued the 2G regulation (vaccinated or recovered) for the hotel and catering industry, which will come into effect on December 12th after the lockdown has ended.

We ask you to adhere to the new regulations and to bring one of the following two documents with you:

Vaccination certificate:

Only full immunization is valid as proof of vaccination, valid from the 2nd vaccination. The 2nd or booster vaccination must be a maximum of 9 months ago. Proof of vaccination is also required for children aged 12 and over. The “ninja pass” is also used as proof. Children up to the age of 12 do not need proof. For school-age children, the schools “ninja pass” is equivalent to the 2-G certificate.

Confirmation of a past Covid illness:

If you have gone through illness, we need a separation notice as confirmation. This is valid for up to 6 months after full recovery. Evidence of neutralized antibodies is unfortunately not recognized.

If you are vaccinated or recovered, there will be no changes. We ask you to present the relevant evidence at check-in.

Due to the new legal ordinance, it is unfortunately not possible to arrive with a negative (PCR) test result.

If you do not meet the 2G status, we are not allowed to accommodate or serve you in this case (according to the current status). This applies to adults and children from the age of 12. If you have already booked and do not meet the 2G rule by the time you start your journey, we ask you to contact us now in order to cancel the booking free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the journey, postpone it to a later date or convert it into a voucher. Any down payments made can also be transferred back to you.

Please note the following for guests from Germany:

Vaccinated and convalescent people need a digital entry registration to return to Germany.

Children under 12 years of age have to go into quarantine for at least 5 days after they return home, regardless of the measures that apply to their parents.

Our measures are updated in accordance with the official requirements of the Austrian Federal Government. All regulations are made in the interests of the health and safety of our guests and are based on official requirements.
