Yes! After an active day on holiday, you can relax and recharge in the Alpine Spa at Hotel Englhof. Facilities include a Finnish sauna, a herbal bio sauna, an infrared cabin and a cosy relaxation room. Wellness teas, infused water and seasonal fruit complete the experience. In winter, the wellness area is open daily, while in summer it is available by prior arrangement.

The free ski bus stops directly outside Hotel Englhof and takes winter sports enthusiasts conveniently to the Zillertal Arena ski area. Ski passes can also be purchased directly at the hotel. Other ski areas in the Zillertal can be reached easily by car or by the Zillertal Railway, with Zell am Ziller railway station just a few minutes’ walk away. This makes Hotel Englhof an excellent base for an unforgettable skiing or winter holiday in the Zillertal.
Away from the ski slopes, the region around Zell am Ziller offers a wide range of winter activities. These include cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, tobogganing, ice skating, ski touring and other winter sports. Cross-country trails are located only around 500 metres from the hotel, while the Zell leisure park with its ice rink is also close by. After a day in the snow, the Alpine Spa at Hotel Englhof offers a relaxing way to unwind.
Summer around Zell am Ziller offers a wide range of activities for active holidaymakers, families and those simply looking to enjoy the region. Hiking, mountaineering, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, tennis and golf are all available, alongside paragliding, rafting and various action-packed experiences in the Zillertal Arena. Yes. From Hotel Englhof, the Zillertal and the surrounding mountains are easy to explore by bicycle, mountain bike or e-bike. A secure garage with free charging facilities is available for bicycles and e-bikes. E-bikes can also be hired directly from the hotel, subject to availability. For selected summer stays and packages, e-bike use is even included.
