The Englhof bar offers cocktails and spirits of the highest quality and is the perfect place to relax with a drink, end an eventful day or meet up with friends. The innovative range of drinks and the perfect service have earned the Englhof Bar an excellent reputation far beyond Austrian borders.
Equally special is the stylish interior, which is dominated by warm wood tones and, in harmony with the lighting, creates a relaxed atmosphere. In our small but fine spirits shop, you can buy selected spirits as a gift or for a special occasion and give your loved ones a little treat.

The Englhof Bar is one of Austria’s multi-award-winning cocktail bars and combines professional bar culture with an exceptionally extensive selection of spirits. Creative signature cocktails, classic long drinks, premium spirits and personal recommendations make the bar a special meeting place for connoisseurs in the Zillertal.
Andreas Hotter is the host at Hotel Englhof and, as an experienced bartender, plays a defining role in the hotel’s cocktail bar. In 2006, he became Austrian Bartending Champion and achieved third place at the Bartending World Championships in Chalkidiki in the same year. His experience, creativity and passion for premium spirits are an essential part of the Englhof Bar.
Over the years, the Englhof Bar has received numerous prestigious prizes and awards. Its particular achievements include Mixology Bar Awards, distinctions in the Falstaff Bar & Spirit Guide, the title of "Best Hotel Bar in Austria" at the 2019 Mixology Bar Awards, as well as further Falstaff awards for the bar, bartender and host.
The drinks menu ranges from creative signature cocktails and classic long drinks to selected spirits from around the world. With more than 1,800 different spirits, the Englhof Bar offers an exceptionally wide selection for beginners, connoisseurs and guests who would like to discover new flavours.
Yes. Under the name Alpine Tasting, the Englhof Bar offers individual spirits tastings for connoisseurs, companies and special occasions. Guests can choose between Beginner, Advanced and Pro categories. Each tasting includes six different spirits of 1 cl each, accompanied by water and bread.
The Englhof Bar is open daily. You can find the current opening times at the top of this page. Due to the bar’s popularity and special atmosphere, reservations are recommended.
